| Welcome to the new site! |
Welcome to the new VPOG website. The Executive Board has been working on this site for a while now and we are pleased with the results. There are many great features on this site that are real improvements over our last one. We now have the ability to vote on this site and we will be using that feature in the coming year. Another great feature of this site over our previous one is that this site can be modified by members of the E-Board as our needs evolve.

| Thank you from DSHS |
Hello,
Wanted to thank all of you for a wonderful Shop with a Cop year. It was great seeing all the children enjoy. A little girl was extremely upset that an LE officer arrested her father and her father never returned. She was afraid she would be arrested too and not return. It was nice to see her return from shopping with a Cop with a huge smile on her face. At one point she was standing talking to an LE officer. When she returned, I asked her who she was talk with and she said, “My Friend”.

The Vancouver Police Officers' Guild was established in 1991. The VPOG is the exclusive collective bargaining organization for the Police Officers, Corporals, and Sergeants of the Vancouver, Washington Police Department. The VPOG replaced the Vancouver Police Officers Association as the social arm, and the previous affiliation with the Office of Professional Employees International Union-Local 11 for Labor issues.
The VPOG represents the interests of its members in labor related subjects such as contract negotiations, grievance and disciplinary issues, and any other matters protected by collective bargaining in the State of Washington. The VPOG is affiliated with the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), monitoring legislation and other issues that affect law enforcement nationally and within the State.
