The Vancouver Police Officers Guild announces our endorsement of Anne McEnerny-Ogle for position #3 of the Vancouver City Council. Anne has been active in attempting to improve the quality of life in our community. She is supportive of public safety, and volunteers as a Neighbors On Watch volunteer for the Police Department. She understands the importance of public safety to a livable and vibrant city, and the staffing and resource issues that have plagued our Police and Fire Departments for several years. Anne has committed to working with other members of council to find solutions to the budget issues the city is facing. The Vancouver Police Officers Guild believes that the election of Anne McEnerny-Ogle to City Council provides an opportunity to bring new and effective leadership to Vancouver.
